The Tremp area is included within the so-called Geoparc Orígens, recognized by UNESCO, and which covers 2,000 km² of territory. An ideal place for the observation and learning of various sciences, such as geology and pantheology mainly, but it also serves to better understand our history and why we have gotten to where we are now.

The Orígens Geoparc includes municipalities such as Abella de la Conca, Castell de Mur, Conca de Dalt, Gavet de la Conca, Isona, Conca Dellà, Pobla de Segur, Llimiana, Salàs de Pallars, Sant Esteve de la Sarga, Sarroca de Bellera, Senterada, Talarn, Torre de Capdella and Tremp in the Pallars Jussà region. But some municipalities of La Noguera, Pallars Sobirà and Alt Urgell are also included.

Visiting a geopark is an experience similar to traveling back in time, where we will see dinosaur footprints, we will go through spectacular gorges and we will follow in the footsteps of the humans who inhabited our lands. All this past, combined with the present (gastronomy, festivities, nature ...) makes visiting a geopark like ours a complete and satisfying experience in every way. If we also add that we have a starry sky of Starlight quality, we can end the day admiring the stars free of light pollution.
